Last week, I was able to get Fantastical 2 for the Mac for only $22.49 thanks to their college student discount and the fact that that store was having discounts on top of their normal student discounts. Needless to say, I think I got one of the best deals out there. As I have said before and will say again, smart people do not pay full price.
Fantastical 2 is one of the top calendar apps in the Mac App Store and the App Store in general.
The first thing that I like about this app is that it syncs so well with the calendars that I have and with Fantastical on my iPhone and iPad. It’s one of those things where it makes sense and there are no complications when it comes to that.
I do like the fact that everything is color-coded and that the event color coding does not show up with different colored dots like you see with the default Apple calendar app. It is something that always irritated me about the Apple Calendar app and I felt like my calendar could be more organized, but it wasn’t.
Fantastical 2 has just about everything one could want in a calendar app for iOS and macOS, in addition to an Apple Watch companion. While it's nice to have the mobile app, Fantastical 2 is at its best on desktop. The app is colorful without being gaudy or overwhelming, and it's easy to use without sacrificing control over your event details. Download Fantastical - Calendar & Tasks for macOS 10.13.2 or later and enjoy it on your Mac. Fantastical is the multiple award-winning calendar app with powerful features including an intuitive natural language parsing, a full calendar window with day, week, month, and year views, an ultra-quick access mini window, tasks, time zone support. The new Fantastical 1, available today on the App Store, is a single app that runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. In many ways, the new Fantastical is a distillation of themes typically found in the modern productivity app scene: the app is free, and the developers have switched to a subscription model to unlock a variety of premium.
Adding events is easy to do too and I like the fact that all I have to do is flip a switch in the app to turn it into a reminder, whereas with the Apple Calendar app, you have to open up the separate Reminders app and do it that way. Fantastical 2 does it all in one.

Another feature that is nice is that it does give me alerts the same way that it does on the iOS version. I could be writing a blog post on here or my personal blog and get an alert that basically says, “Hey, it’s time to get ready for work!” It makes me remember things and events better, which helps me out a great deal.

The only bad part with the notifications and alerts is that when I am not on my MacBook and I open it up at work (where I already made the calendar date and alert), it still alerts me that I need to be there, even though it has my current location (which I use when I put down calendar dates and such) and should be able to tell where I am at and where I need to be.
Being able to have access to multiple types of calendars is nice for those who want to have multiple calendars, but not have them all on the same screen. Fantastical 2 does give you the option to show both calendars on one screen and one calendar, though.
Overall, Fantastical 2 for Mac gets 4/4 stars from me. Microsoft duplicate file remover. Bitdefender for mac app. It is the perfect app for those who are looking to get away from the default Apple Calendar and Reminders apps. Fantastical 2 costs $49.99 in the Mac App Store and students and people in the military can get a discount of 20 percent off the app from the Flexibits (the developers of Fantastical 2) website, which will be a discount of $10 off the regular price.
